Last Saturday, i went to watch <搭错车〉音乐剧 at Esplanade Theatre.
SYNOPSIS:
A masterpiece by TOY FACTORY that has taken 12 years to produce and 3 years to gather the best creative talents and designers across China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Argentina and Singapore.
Uncle Ya, a mute rag-and-bone man, is always hopeful for the day that happiness will arrive. His dull and lonely life takes a turn when he hears the cries of an abandoned baby in the alley one morning. Being showered with Uncle Ya’s fatherly love, the baby blossoms into a beautiful young lady, Ah Mei. Father and daughter live a simple yet blissful life.
Gifted with the voice of an angel, Ah Mei is eventually discovered by a famous record company producer and shoots to stardom swiftly. While Ah Mei lives in her dream, a glass has unknowingly formed between her and the people she loves. Her beloved father, her lover, her best childhood friend, her hometown and the simple life she used to lead are slowly slipping away. As she shines on the glamorous stage, an ailing old man sitting next to the radio that is playing his daughter’s song is slowly passing on...

Everyone started coming from 5+pm onwards.
I went in and out to welcome my friends and relatives.
didn't manage to eat much because I was really too busy...
Talking about eating, there are buffet catering from Neo Garden and BBQ.
As for my birthday cake, I did lots of researching of information on customised cake shop in Singapore. And then, I decided to order from CAKE AVENUE :)
Pretty right? A lot of my friends told me that my cakes was nice! Many people taking turns to take photos of them, YES THEM BUT NOT ME :(

Arrive at Sekupang Ferry Terminal~
Desindo tour guide came to fetch us
Firstly, we went to chocolate house, Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya, Polo outlet, local products shop & Batam layer cake shop
Next, we went for lunch
followed by batik outlet, first factory outlet and 2.5 hours SHOPPING AT BATAM CITY SQUARE :DD
(before I went, I make a research and found out that there's a HELLO KITTY CAFE in the shopping mall)
I searched around but still couldn't find so I asked one auntie and she direct me !! :D
that's the end of our 1D tour
check-in to Harris hotel after that
left our luggage, etc and headed over to Mega Mall for shopping, karaoke, movie, dinner, etc
And that's what we did in a day!Fun but tiring!
